1. The records of Land Tracts in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, PA
are reconstructed in detail from the time of William Penn.  Among them, 
the "Peter Gerhart Tract" appears on pages 121-122, and recounts his lineage,
in part:

"Peter Gerhart was a son of Paul Gerhart.  He emigrated to America with his 
brother, Abraham, and his sister, Barbara, in 1739.  The sister died soon 
after.  Abraham settled in Bucks county and Peter settled in Franconia.
Peter Gerhart died on December 30th, 1766.  His widow's name was Elizabeth.
They had 11 children -- Abraham, married to Anna barbara Detterrer; Jacob, 
Conrad, Peter, married Christina Hunsberger; John, married Magdalena Stout; 
Isaac, margaret, married Michael Sholl; Catharine, married Henry Deetz; 
Elizabeth, married Jacob Fillman; Mary, married Jacob Schneider and Barbara, 
married Henry Bernd."



2. The records of Land Tracts in Franconia Township also include lists of 
assessments made "...for the year 1785, being the first assessment made after
the organization of Montgomery County."  In addition to the assessment rolls, 
this volume also includes a list of merchants is recorded from varying years 
between 1788 and 1866.  Among them, in the year 1850, is this entry:

	Abraham FILLMAN, cooper



3. The records in this volume include a list of naturalizations from 1713 to 
1764, including:

	1763
	Philip FILMAN, Upper Salford
